I thought that might be the end of the problems but, although things got alot better (problem occurs once every few days), now when I wake up the shield after it went to sleep, The TV powers up like it should but the screen is black. IN an earlier discussion, someone indicaetd I was probably experiencing brownout because I didn't have the correct power supply. When I first set it up I just used the power supply from the existing NVidia Shield.
Picked up a used Nvidia Shield Pro 2019 for a new TV (It has Google TV built in but it won't play live tv served up my my Plex Server). I have several Nvidia shields (2017 non pro) on the various TVs in our home.
